Looking to choose from 2 superideal-cut diamonds from White Flash for an engagement ring.
The first is H S1, the second is I VS2 …
So the conundrum is that both are in white flash’s signature line, so they are present as eye cleansers. But then the superior cut also makes them appear whiter than your regular, normal excellent cut diamond of the same color.
They both have near-perfect light performance and cut conditions. They are almost identical in size and the same in price.
What should I do? Do better color worse clarity, or better clarity worse color? And why?
