So my gf is basically looking for a more rectangular diamond padding. I went to a barman jeweler who I could only find good reviews of everywhere I looked (the east coast). They had a 1.22 carat cushion cover g color vs1 with 1.2 portions for length / width, which is more rectangular
I really liked the diamond / mount, they would have $ 6.5k for that diamond which really doesn’t seem overpriced for size and specifications.
When I got home, I looked up the GIA – https://www.gia.edu/report-check?reportno=2111374786
The only thing that worried me was the proportions that have a 50% table and 76% depth, from what I understand that are not really large proportions, usually want them more like 60-65%
Does anyone have any thoughts?
