I’m looking for some advice on oval diamonds.
I’ve researched something, but it’s still hard for me to tell what an excellent cut is. I found a table online: https://www.lumeradiamonds.com/diamond-education/oval-diamond
Is that pretty accurate? Even with the correct criteria in a filter on Blue Nile or James Allen, I have a hard time seeing the arrows and bowties are everywhere as well.
My significant other wants a yellow gold mount, so I reckon I can go down in color to J, but I heard with ovals that the color is more visible.
I have a budget of approx. ~ 10,000, but it’s flexible. I reckon the most important features are cut out, followed by size, followed by color, and it has to be eye-cleaning (SL1?).
I hope I can get some advice or suggestions. Thanks!
