I’m looking for a tennis bracelet, but my budget is a little tight (about $ 500), I like the look of 4 prong tennis bracelets, but I’m also open to other designs. I don’t mind lab diamonds (real carbon-based diamonds made in a lab, NOT cubic zirconia). I want it to be about 6mm wide, but I’m sure it’s not realistic with my budget, so I’m open to sizes as well. The size of the bracelet should be 7.25 inches. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !! Authorized places only (Kay jewelry, etc.)

Anyone else think it’s funny and annoying that u / amadeus62 (dude of pure origin) is constantly leaping into the comments box trying to advertise itself?
Just had a brief scroll through amadeus62’s post as well, and he loves throwing VERY meaningful and misleading facts around. Guy. chill. (personal opinion, you have whatever terrible prices … BlueNile destroys your lab diamond prices with their natural stone to higher specifications in all 4c. Can’t wait to hear your immature erroneous comeback: P)

HPHT vs CVD methods
Hi! I’ve read articles on the two lab methods, but I’m looking for more anecdotal information. Does the method affect sparking?
examples:
CVD is mine originally formed as a cube – does it make it easier to get an ideal cut? On the other hand, HPHT has more sides than a natural diamond, so they would probably reflect even more light!
CVD only produces type IIa diamonds..HPHT does not .. they are mostly not IIa and usually more yellow.
But the general idea I gather from info is that CVD is better, but that people have a bias against it. Why?
Thanks for all the thoughts!
Hi! This is much more casual than any engagement ring shopping. I have been looking for a simple diamond ring to wear with my other jewelry. This ring is on sale right now for $ 149.50:

It is a 0.10 carat diamond with a minimal color of I and clarity of I1 in 14k white gold. Is this a good price? I considered designing one, but I think it will look more like an engagement ring and cost more.
Thank you very much for your input!
Hi guys, so I’m interested in buying a ring but I have no idea what a reasonable price is. Does anyone know if the price is worth the call or not? it is an old old euro diamond ring.

I wonder because I think it has unusual characteristics. It is set in white gold and dates back to the deco era. Wheat pattern and ornate side profile. Thin setting that makes stones look bigger.
The stone itself is what I find interesting. It is J VVS2 with a very good cut and also a GIA report. It is 0.71 carats, and is an old mining section. It has many colors and lots of sparkle. What I find unusual about this ring is the very good cut combined with being an antique diamond. I keep it, of course, but what do you think such a thing would sell for?
I have been going through lab-grown diamonds for a while now and am considering this stone. Whichever stone we end up walking, I plan to put a yellow gold / solitaire six-taper.
I know IGI does not have the same reputation for quality / consistency as GIA or AGS, so I wondered what you could tell me about this diamond from images / video / certificate which may not be obvious to an inexperienced buyer.
I have personally seen both lab-grown and natural diamonds in this size range, I am color sensitive and want an excellent cut / no visible inclusions.
This one is 1.59 ct, IGI G / VS1 / Ideal, no fluorescence and is listed for $ 4684.

Help with purchase engagement
I am working on buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I contacted my boyfriend’s family friend who is a diamond dealer. I received the following offer on some diamonds. Do you think this is competitively priced or can I do better? My budget is ideally $ 4-6K (I’ll close a home in August!). I was quoted $ 1,250 for the ring. Any advice / guidance would be appreciated.
He mentioned the following:
I LOVE the 1.07 H-SI2 GIA!
Super white, excellent clip, SI2 is a very small white inclusion, not in the middle, 100% clean with the naked eye and it has a size of 6.7 mm
Thank you!
